Ex-Aviation minister Chidoka resigns from PDP
The former Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development on the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Osita Chidoka, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme, Chidoka revealed that he has sent his resignation letter to his ward in Anambra to the effect.
He also revealed that he wants to stay away from politics for a while, adding that he would focus his time on ensuring that the Nigerian political system is reformed to bring evidence-based governance.
“Effective today, I’m no longer a member of the Peoples Democratic Party,” he concluded.
