“ Nigerians should celebrate the rule of law now. Other countries have confidence in Nigeria now than ever before because Buhari has upheld the rule of law,” Danpass said.

According to him, for the fact that number three citizen of the country is facing corruption charges today is enough reason for other key political office holders to tread softly.
“Other political office holders should understand that the era of impunity is over”.

On the allegation that the Presidency could have a hand in Saraki’s travail, he described it as mischievous and immaterial, adding that the Presidency and Code of Conduct Tribunal are two separate bodies independent of each other.
