An Abuja-based Tiv group has commended the exemplary decision of President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to declare their assets publicly.

The group, under the aegis of Tiv Progressives Forum said it received with elation, the decision of the President and his Deputy to come to equity with clean hands.

In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Mr. Nyitse Tordue, the group also advised the President to choose key ministers and other political appointees from Benue State, in line with the majority principle which is applicable across the world, including Britain, India and the United States.

We commend His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari and the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for publishing their assets as declared to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and we hope that others down the line, will follow suit.
