Fokes Academy, the training and development arm of the Fokes Group, has announced the commencement of its October 2025 academic session in Lagos, with a focus on preparing young professionals for leadership roles in Nigeria’s real estate industry.
The one-month intensive programme, which begins on 15 October, is structured to provide participants with practical knowledge of real estate operations, business management, and modern market strategies. It is also designed to foster critical thinking, ethics, and entrepreneurial acumen among attendees.
Speaking ahead of the opening, Founder of Fokes Academy, Oke Opeyemi, said the institution was established to raise a generation of professionals who would redefine leadership within and beyond the real estate space. “At Fokes Academy, our goal is to raise a new class of business and real estate leaders — people who combine knowledge, vision, and character to shape the future,” he said. “Every course, every conversation, every session is built to transform the mind and inspire excellence.”
Chancellor of the Academy, Mr Adedeji Agarawu, described the programme as more than a professional course, noting that it reflects the academy’s broader philosophy of personal transformation and societal impact. “This is not just another training programme — it’s a movement. We are building minds that will influence industries and lead communities. Fokes Academy is where learning becomes leadership, and leadership becomes legacy,” he stated.
Training Coordinator, Mr Tobi, explained that the curriculum had been carefully curated to address fundamental aspects of the real estate sector, equipping participants with the tools to start and scale their businesses. “The courses have been strategically designed to cover key areas of basic real estate, providing participants with the foundation, tools, and clarity they need to confidently start and scale in the real estate industry,” he said.
Team Lead, Mr Ayo, added that the academy’s approach goes beyond technical instruction. “Our mission as a team is to create an atmosphere of inspiration and excellence. We don’t just teach — we build people. Every participant will walk out of this academy ready to take bold steps toward their dreams,” he remarked.
Participants in the October session will benefit from a blend of classroom engagement, mentorship sessions, and interactive discussions with experienced facilitators drawn from across Nigeria’s real estate and business sectors.
Fokes Academy, a subsidiary of the Fokes Group, describes its mission as empowering professionals to lead with purpose, integrity, and innovation. The institution continues to position itself as a bridge between education and enterprise, helping participants turn knowledge into meaningful impact within their communities.
