The World Trade Centre (WTC) Abuja has announced the launch of a new Entertainment Hub, expanding its portfolio of premium amenities as it strengthens its position in mixed-use developments.
The Entertainment Hub is part of a broader plan to enhance residential and corporate experiences and features a private clubhouse with top-tier recreational and leisure facilities. Amenities include a luxury swimming pool, a fully equipped techno gym fitness centre, spa, lawn tennis courts, and squash courts.
Others are a children’s play area, private meeting rooms, a serene lounge, and a sunlit patio for informal gatherings and lounges designed to support wellness, networking, and upscale living.
According to the project developers – Churchgate Group, the facility will serve residents, tenants, and corporate users within the WTC complex. The initiative reflects a growing trend in real estate where developers integrate lifestyle infrastructure to increase property value, attract long-term tenants, and drive commercial interest.
Located in the heart of the Federal Capital Territory, the WTC Abuja boasts AAA-grade office towers, 120 luxury residences, a five-star hotel, and the Capital Mall. Industry experts say the launch of the Entertainment Hub could influence investment inflows and leasing demand, particularly among high-net-worth individuals and international brands.
The facility will also complement the Trade Accelerator Programme and advanced security enhancements beingintroduced across the estate—initiatives aimed at bolstering WTC Abuja’s appeal as a secure, business-friendly environment.
Property analysts suggest the development is part of a larger strategy to reposition real estate in Abuja as globally competitive. As part of ongoing expansion, the WTC is also partnering with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and AfriLabs to integrate trade, tech innovation, and entrepreneurship into its operational ecosystem.
The Entertainment Hub, when completed, is expected to enhance both the market value and livability of the complex, reinforcing WTC Abuja as a flagship address in Nigeria’s evolving property landscape.
That opportunity is grounded in WTC Abuja’s unique position as Nigeria’s gateway to the world. Affiliated with the World Trade Centres Association, WTC Abuja connects directly to over 330 WTCs in more than 150 countries — a network that spans global commerce, investment, and innovation.
“With this new addition, we are blending lifestyle, work, and luxury in one location, setting a benchmark not just for Abuja, but for the entire West African region,” according to General Manager Corporate Communications, Churchgate Group, Ibukun Adeogun.
Meanwhile, the WTC Abuja opened its doors to students from Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC), in celebration of this year’s Children’s Day. For the children in attendance, it was a first encounter with an Entertainment Hub. “This clubhouse was created to enhance the lifestyle of those who call WTC Abuja home,” Vice President of WTC Abuja, Mr Karim Ahmed. “And while it remains closed to the public, we felt the Children’s Day was a worthy reason to temporarily open its doors — to ignite imagination, spark ambition, and let these children experience the kind of environment they can aspire to lead in.”
For the students, it was a day of immersive play and a surprising discovery of what the WTC Abuja Entertainment Hub offers. From virtual reality zones to swimming, tennis, bouncing castles, face painting, and indoor games. But beyond the fun, there was the intention: a conscious effort to expose young minds to the infrastructure, ambition, and international connectivity that define WTC Abuja.
“WTC Abuja is proud to open its doors and share a vision of what is possible when Nigerian talent meets global opportunity,” Ahmed said, adding, that the children were allowed to interact with top executives and multinational clients of high-profile corporate organisations, which have made WTC Abuja their preferred office address and the hub for global business in the FCT.
Speaking at the event, the Head of Trade Services at WTC Abuja, Dr David Oke, described the initiative as part of the centre’s broader commitment to modelling possibilities and inspiring the next generation of global leaders and entrepreneurs.
He also revealed that the Trade Services Department has launched a mentorship programme targeting undergraduates and young adults, designed to groom future leaders in trade and investment.
