US-based actress, Lola Faduri has just completed her latest movie project that will thrill lovers of Yoruba movie industry and film lovers in general.

A trained medical practitioner in the United States, Lola, who started her career in 2001 under the Odunfa caucus, has finished work on the movie titled Ayanmo featuring Yinka Quadri, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Mustapha Sholagbade and Abimbola Ogunnowo and another movie Ife Odale, which will be marketed by Okiki Films.

However, breaking through in tough terrain of movie business was an adventure for Lola, as she has to rely on advice and lessons learnt from late Alade Aromire and her boss Yinka Quadri.

“The late Alade Aromire was my mentor too, he told me to always believe in myself and never give up regardless of anything, so when I travel abroad and left acting for a long time to focus on another career in the medical field, I constantly remember his advice, this made me further my education as an actress. I got admission and studied Acting for film and I graduated with Associate of fine Art from The Renowned NY film academy,” she said.

The recipient of Yoruba heritage Awards has featured in Yoruba movies such as Kofo the First Lady, Adisa the Tailor, Egbin, Ola inu kan, Majemu America and English productions namely Scores, Against all Odds and The hurdle.
