Nollywood actress, Annie Idibia has joined in the campaign to increase breast cancer awareness in the country. The wife of Nigeria pop king 2face Idibia’s and mother is the model in a breast cancer inspired shoot that has her looking bald.

The aim of the awareness drive called ‘Fight The Odds’ is to raise awareness about breast cancer and promote self-examination. Annie’s photoshop bald look was shared by her manager Naomi M. Adenuga on Tuesday, October 27 on Instagram.

“#FightTheOdds is purposed to create more awareness about cancer and the importance of self-examination. Recent studies have shown that 20 per cent of breast cancer is discovered by self-examination rather than mammography and we must realise that cancer is not a respecter of persons.

It could happen to anyone, even a celebrity like Annie Idibia. Imagine the lives that will be saved if more women physically checked themselves on a regular basis; imagine if we could stand against breast cancer by fighting the odds via self-examination. Let’s save the life of a woman today, let’s examine ourselves today! #Powerful #BreastCancerAwareness #CancerSucks #HopeForACure,” Naomi wrote.

Last week Annie Idibia shared a promo flyer of Sumbo Ajaba-Adeoye on her Instagram page, a move her numerous followers on Instagram applauded her for, saying that it shows Annie has a heart of gold.
