These are indeed the best of times for Mina Okoloko, who is currently basking in the euphoria of a newfound peace of mind.

The mother of two, who suffered some devastation a few years ago, first, separation from her wealthy husband, Jite Okoloko, a former top executive at Oando, now head honcho at Notore Fertilisers, and losing her home to an unexplained inferno, has obviously gotten her groove back, judging by her new glow and gutsy determination not to remain defeated.

Recall that in 2014, news of Mina’s separation from her husband hit the streets after it had been kept under wraps for a while.

For this singular reason, Mina disappeared from the social scene and concentrated on her businesses, a spa and her champagne bar, Fluid Lounge.

Not long after, her Victoria Island home was gutted by a fire that also destroyed everything she had in the building.

The incident left Mina speechless and traumatised for weeks, as she lost property and jewellery worth millions of naira.

She was lucky to have had good neighbours, who helped to drive her cars away from the compound. The lawyer-turned-beautician sunk deeper into depression and even further into her cocoon.

Well, the good news is that she has picked up the pieces of her life and has returned to her bubbly self.

Just last weekend, the Obafemi Awolowo University-trained entrepreneur re-launched her spa business, after extensive work and total refurbishment and expansion of the space.

Today, the med-spa does not only look bigger and better, its ambiance and quality of service now offered is still being talked about long after its launch.

The grand re-opening of the ultramodern facility was graced by the crème de la crème of high society, including Kate Henshaw, Tonye Halliday, Linda Ejiofor, Kemi Sokenu-Morris, Vivian Oputa and Shola Amusan, among others. Prominent female politician, Senator Daisy Danjuma, was the special guest of honour.
