Bullion Records has emerged as the Outstanding Record Label of the Year at the 2024 Golden Stars Award, held on Sunday, 2nd June 2024, at The Lekki Coliseum, Lagos.

The award ceremony, renowned for its meticulous and transparent selection process, honoured Bullion Records for its significant contributions to the music industry.

The Golden Stars Award is highly respected for building brand equity and public recognition through its stringent assessment criteria. This year, Bullion Records distinguished itself through exemplary work in nurturing and promoting musical talent.

In his acceptance speech, Managing Director of Bullion Records, Mr. Femi Ajibola, said the honour was a “testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our entire team.” He extended his gratitude to the artists, staff, and fans, adding, “We believe in the power of music to change lives and bring people together. This award motivates us to continue pushing boundaries, discovering new talent, and producing music that resonates with audiences worldwide.”

Financial Director, Comrade Kilamuwaye Badmus, reflected on the label’s journey, stating: “Our journey to this point has been filled with challenges, but it has also been marked by countless moments of triumph and growth.” Badmus emphasised the importance of investing in the dreams and aspirations of their artists, highlighting that the award results from combining passion, commitment, and financial acumen.

Fortune Kingsley, known by his stage name GyC, the label’s latest promoting artist, expressed his enthusiasm and pride. “Bullion Records is more than just a label; it is a family that supports and nurtures talent in a truly special way,” he remarked. He credited the label for providing the encouragement and resources essential for his growth and thanked the team and fans for their relentless support.

The event was also attended by key executives of Bullion Records, including Mr. Gbenga Owoeyo, Head of Marketing; Barrister Isaac Izunya, Head of Legal Department; and Mr. Ibrahim Taofeek Kegbegbe, Head of Media and Publicity.
