Lecturer Or Small God?
T4T ran into a video online during the week showing a lecturer (well, the setting looks like a university lecture room anyway) angrily destroying a mobile phone of a student, in fact, smashing it into tiny pieces. The Nigerian university neither was the lecturer named in the video.

The narratives from the comment section were two. Some said the phone rang in the middle of the lecture and that got the lecturer angry, the other said the lecturer was miffed that a ‘common’ student could afford to own an expensive mobile phone such as that. It was actually an iPhone. Whatever the scenario was, bottom line was, the lecturer decided to smash the device with what looked like a hammer.

Now, T4T is wondering who gave the lecturer such powers to do what he did. When did it become a crime for a student to own an expensive mobile phone in a Nigerian university? And if the other story that the phone rang and disrupted the lecture, what happened to either seizing the device temporarily or even sending the student out of the lecture hall so that he would miss the class as punishment for his infantile stupidity? But smashing up the device for whatever reasons is akin to playing God by the very powerful lecturer. T4T has been waiting to hear an official statement by the university authorities, so just relax and wait for an update. Someone should remind some lecturers that students in a university are ADULTS already and unless they commit an offence that goes against the rules of the school, they should be treated as adults not as pupils.

This Tiktok Pastor…
THERE is this popular phrase on Social Media; “Just Have Data…” Just have data and you would see all kinds of things online, some that will make you question the sanity of so many folks especially this new generation of ‘content creators’.

That is why T4T is wondering here if this light complexion young man probably in his late 30s or early 40s who goes by the name Pastor Eddy, on Tiktok, is actually a Pastor or content creator. He has a fairly large following and when he goes live, it is always fun, well, fun for people who take delight in viewing people with weird content.

Eddy claims to be a Pastor with so many spiritual powers like our own dear liquid metal, Prophet Odumeje (T4T cannot independently verify that claim) but some or most of the things he says are so ‘unpastor’ like, one wonders if he is just having fun and drawing traffic to his online account. But Pastor Eddy appears serious, his facial expressions when he says what he says especially the advises he gives to people he ‘counsels’ is what really makes T4T to have some doubts about his ‘Pastorness’.

In a video T4T saw on Wednesday, a lady called and sought advice from him that she was newly divorced and looking for a new relationship. What would a real pastor say to such person? Your guess is as good as T4T’s, but not Pastor Eddy.

He boldly and with a straight face told her to go after married men only and destroy their marriages because she should not be the only divorced person around! Ironically, or should T4T say, sadly, the woman agreed with him and even hailed him for such a ‘wonderful’ counsel. Pastor Eddy is not from this space, the expression when he says those weird things is the catch for T4T and he must find out if truly this guy is a pastor or just a content creator.

Falana Draws First Blood As Bobrisky Prison Saga Deepens
SOCIAL and human rights activist/lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) may have been the one to draw first blood when a court during the week, fined an online activist, VeryDarkBlackMan a whopping sum of 500 million for alleged defamation. This is part of the ongoing saga of cross dresser Bobrisky’s alleged ‘prison break’, sorry, ‘not sleeping in prison break’; sha, any one of the two. VeryDarkBlackMan some weeks ago released an audio which claimed Bobrisky did not spend a night of her, sorry, his three months incarceration at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.

Bobrisky (or someone like her, sorry, him) had in the audio mentioned Falana and his son, Falz, a lawyer and singer for helping her, sorry, him, pull some strings and all. Baba Falana was livid with rage and fiam, he ran to court alleging that VeryDarkBlackMan defamed him and his son. And to be honest, this is the fastest alleged defamation case T4T has seen in his adult life. In less than two weeks, judgment abi na fine, has been given and gbam, N500 million fine on top VeryDarkBlackMan head! Dem nor adjourn the case as typical of all Nigerian courts abi VeryDarkBlackMan nor get lawyer wey appear for am? In any case, T4T is eating his pop corn waiting for the next move of VeryDarkBlackMan.
