It was pandemonium yesterday at about 6:00am, when Sheriffs from a Lagos High Court in company of security operatives from the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squads (FSARS) stormed the Squareville home of the P-Square in Omole Phase 1, Lagos with a court order to size the property due to the ongoing allegations against them by one aggrieved client.
The Sheriffs had sort to effect the court order but were refused entry into the premise by the security guards at the facility. This resulted in a fight that saw one of the security guards injured.
Weekend Beat gathered that the P-Square made up of Paul and Peter Okoye, were contracted in January this year by a showbiz promoter, who paid them over eight million naira to perform at a show in in Benin-City, the Edo State Capital, but due to an in-house feud between the brothers (Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye), which had spilled to the social media, they could not turn up for the event.
According to those in the know, the acts had arrived venue of the show on the agreed date, unfortunately the show was postponed to the next day and all entreaties to the E No Easy crooners to stay failed as they returned to Lagos.
The aggrieved client a bid to retrieve his money, sort for justice at a court in Lagos, which ruled in his favour, after the Alhaji singers failed to appear in court three times, ignoring the court summons.
An eyewitness account has that one of the twins, Paul was seen driving out of the palatial home and returned at about 11:10am. Paul in a swift reaction took to the Instagram and asked their teeming fan to ignore all the speculations, saying: “Please ignore the rumours that our house is on fire. People sha… God forbid, there was a situation in our Neighborhood early dis morning and our attention was needed and my people called me as early as 5:00am. So I had to drive from island to intervene.”
The P-Square brothers have been at war among themselves with Peter calling out on their elder brother, Jude, who doubles as their producer and manager. There have been allegations and counter allegations with Paul taking side with older Okoye.
