Eweka emerges Mr. Tourism 2022
Hamilton Nosagie Iro Eweka has emerged Mr. Tourism Nigeria 2022, a pageant produced by Zanzy Entertainment.
Eweka, who hails from the ancient city of Benin, Edo State defeated 25 other contestants at the pageant, which took place in Lagos recently.
Speaking on his victory, the 21-year-old Microbiology graduate from Benson Idahosa University said being a pageant king has always been his dream, as this would afford him a wider opportunity to reach out to teenage schoolboys.
“We need to start catering for the boy child too in order to reduce rape, cultism and other social vices in our communities.”
Eweka further revealed that he intends to work with Edo State museum to revamp it into a modern tourist site that will attract more visitors to it and revenue to the state.
The 2022 Mr. Tourism is the last of three children who just completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). He is a model and a fashion enthusiast who enjoys dancing, listening to music, cooking, skating and meeting new people.
