Former Edo State First Lady, Mrs. Eki Igbinedion seems to have soft-pedaled her outings owing to her present status as former First Lady.

You hardly see her at outwards parties because she has decided to remain calm and attend to other better issues especially her home front. The last high profile event she attended was during the actress Omoni Oboli’s official film presentation to the former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Villa.

Her non-governmental organisation sought to restore hope and dignity to humanity and promote the cultural values of the people of Edo State. The project has received widespread adulation because it sought to tackle the twin scourge of prostitution and women trafficking which constituted major headaches to the ancient city of Benin.
