FADAN hosts new executives in Lagos

The Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN) recently held its inauguration cocktail party to usher in newly elected executives. The event, which took place at the Nike Arts Gallery at Lekki Peninsula in Lagos, kicked off at 3:00p.m with Red Carpet activities and event proper at 4:00p.m.

Present at the event were high profile personalities and fashion enthusiasts. Popular comedian Kofi was there to put smiles on the faces of people.

President of FADAN, Funmi Ajila-Ladipo, who was elected for a second term to steer the affairs of the association with the incoming executives for the next three years, said that the association should be seen as the connoisseur of timeless fashion and always lead the way in keeping the trends of fashion alive both past and present.

She continued: “FADAN is the only recognised body of the Fashion Designers profession in Nigeria, duly incorporated in 1989 by the Federal Ministry of Trade and Corporate Affairs. It has state chapters all over the country.”
