Femi Davies hits golden age

For Chief Femi Omoniyi Davies, it was indeed a day to return praise and gratitude to the Almighty God, as the media mogul and Founder of Metro News Online celebrated his 50th birthday amidst pomp and pageantry at the Oranmiyan Hall of the Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

A-List comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, and media personality, Yemi Shodimu, both hosted the birthday party and also had very kind words to say about the celebrant.

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, was represented at the event, with the Zaki of Arigidi-Akoko, Oba Yisa Olanipekun in attendance to felicitate with his chief, the Aare Ona Kakanfo designate, Gani Adams, his wife Erelu Mojisola; Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon (GOS); Tunde Buraimoh; Yinka Odumakin of Afenifere; Mayor Akinpelu and other important dignitaries.

Kolade Onanuga, Seun Aransiola and Lanre Teriba popularly known as Atorise thrilled the audience with their music on the night.
