Fireboy comes through with Yawa
YBNL/Empire Music pop star, Adedamola Adefolahan, professionally known as Fireboy DML, has come through with another single titled Yawa, his second for the year 2023 and a follow-up to his last song titled Someone.
The dreadlocks-sporting music artiste in this latest offering reiterated his resolution to live the way he fancies and without sparing a thought to naysayers and detractors.
Combining English, Pidgin and Yoruba, Fireboy said he was tired of constant analysis of his career while maintaining that he’s not competing with anybody.
Produced by Grammy-nominated music producer, Telz and revered hit-making producer, Magicsticks, the duo combined pop elements and log drums for a mid-tempo record that offers another side of Fireboy.
Blank Square Production shot the music video, which surpassed one million views in just six hours after its release.
Currently on tour across Europe and America, sources close to the Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps hit maker may release another Long Playlist (LP) in the next couple of months as he is reportedly in album mode.
