FitFamFest excites Lagosians
When it comes to entertainment, Lagos is always the place to be. Almost on a daily basis, individuals and groups come up with exciting events, thereby adding to the rising profile of the city as a place of fun.
For instance, the talk of town for last month, FitFamFest, did not only meet the expectation of the attendees; it blew their minds! Sponsored by Malta Guinness Herbs Lite, PUMA and RedCareHMO, the fun filled session gave Lagosians something different from usual. From the healthy food vendors to the Fitfam nutrition master-classes, kid’s zone, the event, which was hosted at the Landmark Event Center, was busy with wide range of activities for guests.
Also, fitness coaches came through and delivered energetic and fun performances, as attendees excitingly participated, while Farida Sanusi’s Spin Class saw interested participants spinning with so much energy. At the other corner, the HIIT Squad, headed by Maje Ayida, had partakers doing all sorts of serious but fun abs workout and more.
Other fitness coaches such as Shedams, BFS Lifestyle, Atarhe and more, held their classes simultaneously and surprisingly, people didn’t stop joining the classes. Meanwhile, beach soccer sponsored by PUMA, volleyball, table tennis, and yoga all took place at the beachfront, while Sandra Patrick had participants bending in ways they never knew they could during her yoga sessions.
Chef Tolu Eros and the BAE (Breakfast At Eros) team gave an interactive nutrition masterclass with guests all tasting the delicious food, while Somkele and August Secrets were also in the house, sharing their wealth of knowledge.
The Kids Zone delivered as expected, as Ruff ‘n’ Tumble’s popcorn, bouncy castles, and several goodies entertained the kids to the fullest. Loads of children were in the space, not only at the Kid’s Zone, but they also joined in the fun by the fully guarded beach front, riding horses and building sandcastles. They also had their light fitness exercises and dancing, and almost didn’t want to go home when it was time to leave.
