Forbes’African Richest woman, Chief (Mrs.) Folorunsho Alakija, Hon Abike Dabiri, Shade Okoya and several other eminent personalities across the country were dignitaries that stormed the launch of WFM Radio Station in Lagos.

Forbes’African Richest woman, Chief (Mrs.) Folorunsho Alakija, Hon Abike Dabiri, Shade Okoya and several other eminent personalities across the country were dignitaries that stormed the launch of WFM Radio Station in Lagos. It was a star-studded gathering that that will linger in the memory of many that attend the event.

Toun Okewale, the Managing Director of the station in her welcome address said: “It is not just about women or straight-jacketed tailored for women. It is a radio station for women, the men in their lives and for the whole family”.

The keynote speaker, Folorunsho Alakija spoke on ‘Women Development in The 21st Century’. Other speakers include Ovation publisher, Bashorun Dele Momodu, and Abike Dabiri-Erewa among others. Dabiri in her address called on political parties across the country to create a platform for women in their parties, adding that women should learn to mentor one another in the political race.

She also said women should remain active participants and not criticize others in any political gathering.
