Toolz Academy, a digital marketing training centre, concluded the second in the series of the 2017 free digital marketing training, #GoDigital4free on April 7, and from the feedback, it was a roaring success.

Attended by 51 people across two days, it successfully sensitised the consciousness of the students on the vast opportunities available for digital reinvention for the future.

According to Olufunke Akinloye, the company’s Chief Learning Officer, “the training is our own little way of helping our country prepare for a future that would be purely eco-digital.”

While ‘Digital’ is a universal language, Toolz Academy has partnered with Street Toolz Ltd and Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), Ireland, to create a Digital Marketing syllabus that is Nigeria-centric.

“Toolz Academy is tapping into the expertise and competence of Street Toolz and DMI to educate anyone that cares, on the great digital marketing opportunities that are opening up every day in the world and how to take advantage of these opportunities.

“We understand that many more digitally-educated minds would be needed in the workplace in the very near future,” she said.

For starters, the participants evaluated themselves on their digital marketing status, an examination that enabled the facilitators to properly understand the challenges faced by participants.
