Folashade Olabanji Oba dazzles

It is striking that the totality of an individual’s life could be so devoted to God and every undertaking in His vineyard. But for those who are close to her, such compelling relationship with the heavenly father and His work on earth have manifested in the bountiful grace of God in her life; hence the resolve long ago to be a committed servant of God.

This is the apt description of the life of Princess Folashade Olabanji Oba, a Christian, who reckons that any passion for humanity is an extension of service to the Lord.

She has been consistent in this belief over the years, making her presence felt in various capacities and endeavours with her Shelter of Grace Foundation, a non-governmental organisation that tries to transform lives in her Ikorodu neighbourhood.

Still, her life of sacrifice has never deterred her from pursuing other interests, particularly academics, where she has an impressive record and accomplishments.

She also runs Pacific Capital Limited, a real estate and brokerage firm in Lagos, with annex in London.Folashade is hope personified for the downtrodden and less privileged, as her determination is making a difference in the lives of so many others.

A native of Ikorodu, the United States (US) returnee is the first daughter of Alhaja Atinuke Atobajaiye, the Iya Sunna of Nigeria and close associate of the late Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, the Iyaloja General of Nigeria.

For this beautiful and energetic princess, who is also aspiring for a seat to represent her people at the National Assembly come 2019, she is going into politics basically to further alleviate the problems of her people.
