While the young Trap Artiste continues to showcase his stellar penmanship and radical sound direction, his musical debut is actually a vital moment for the African music industry.

While other South-Eastern rappers like Zoro, Phyno, Illbliss, among others continued to blaze the torch for years as apostles of Igbo Hip-hop, Jeriq comes as a breath of fresh air to the scene. H

Jeriq, who is popular for his earlier releases such as Hood Boy Dreams, has also released a joint EP with his Yoruba counterpart, Dremo.
