Lagos First Lady, Bolanle Ambode’s Social Life

Bola, the beautiful wife of Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, is a noble woman. Just like the scriptural blessed wife, she is down-to-earth, respectful, supportive of her husband and above all, beautiful.

Truly, before her husband assumed office, little was heard of her in the society circle, and this is because Bola is a reserved person.

With her new status in the land of splendour, many had expected her to come out of her shell and enjoy the new lease of life. But never would she do that.

Even when her predecessor, Abimbola Fashola, tried to integrate her into the social gatherings, she did not yield, and this made many to start thinking that she is an introvert.

But if what we gathered is anything to go by, then Bola’s ‘unsociable status’ is not her making; she could strictly be adhering to her husband’s regulations.

Those who should know confirmed that the governor, on assuming office, discouraged her from attend gigs for now, due to negative stories. And Bola, we heard, has taken heed of that, in respect of her hubby.

A Physics graduate of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Bolanle, who hails from Epe, is said to have met the governor about 25 years ago while he was working at Badagry Council as accountant.

The middle-aged couple has had a wonderful experience, career wise.Bolanle holds a Masters degree, also from LASU and sits atop BrandSmiths Consulting Ltd, Rehoboth Chops and Confectioneries Ltd, among others.
