Lamboginny dedicates album to kids, plans paediatric hospital

Gospel and dancehall singer, Yinka Lawanson popularly known with the stage name, Lamboginny has revealed that his upcoming album The Living will be dedicated to kids who cannot afford to pay medical bills.

Gospel and dancehall singer, Yinka Lawanson popularly known with the stage name, Lamboginny has revealed that his upcoming album The Living will be dedicated to kids who cannot afford to pay medical bills. He also added that his long term goal is to build a paediatric hospital for kids aged between 0 – 13 years.

He said, “We are still working on the album and it is titled The Living because we believe no child should die as a result of lack of medical care, reason we are recording the album so we can sell, raise funds to save more children. We will put up a concert and proceeds from the tickets will be channel into the Save the Kids projects.”

“For every ticket you buy, you are donating for us to be able to save kids, and the long term vision for the project is to build a free treatment hospital for children between the age of zero and 13,” he added.

Lambo as he is fondly called, alongside Mr. Clayy earlier in the year released a single titled I am a Winner featuring Chidinma. Lamboginny and Mr. Clayy have an EP titled Lamboginny and Clay, with songs like Bolaji and Hello.

Produced by Mr. Kamara, a South African base producer, and the video shot in the Sub-Saharan by Matt Max with some heroic razzmatazz and gladiator masterpiece, the song since its release has been receiving good attention within Nigeria and South Africa.

The dancehall act has worked with beautiful divas including Livespot Entertainment’s Zaina in the cover of Jamaican singer Shabba Ranks’ remix Mr. Loverman, and with ex-beauty queen turned rapper and OAP, Munachi Abii well known as Muna in All I Want, and both plans to release a collective EP, as they “share a certain magical chemistry”, Muna explained.
