Otunba-Gbenga-Daniel-10-10-15ALL is now set for the 25th anniversary celebration of Kresta Laurel, the Maryland, Lagos-based engineering firm owned by Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the former governor of Ogun State. The ever-smiling ex-governor has started pulling the strings to make the celebration an affair to remember.

To those who are very conversant with the way the engineer- turned-politician does his things, Otunba Daniel is someone who takes time to prepare for whatever he sets his heart on. It therefore did not come as a surprise when word filtered out that the Remo, Ogun State- born politician was already putting finishing touches to the dinner.

The dinner holds on October 14 at the Ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos. Expected at the event are his expatriate business partners from Kone Elevators in Finland. Family, friends and several business associates from Nigeria and other African countries are all expected to attend the dinner.

The 25th anniversary celebration of the company is coming after Kresta Laurel Limited was named as Africa’s best company in material handling and among the first three companies in the world having attained international best practices. The announcement was made at the world distributors’ conference held in Wetter, Germany on October 1. DEMATEC Company was named the best in Europe, while Kresta Laurel was named best in Africa.
