Southern Sun Ikoyi Wins Travellers Choice Award Steven Tanba

SOUTHERN Sun Ikoyi has again won the TripAdvisor ‘Travellers Choice Award 2016’.
This year recognition is the sixth consecutive win of the prestigious Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence.

TripAdvisor said the award is the highest honour, and the winner selection is based on reviews and opinions collated from its global online travel community.

Southern Sun Ikoyi General Manager, Mr. Mark Loxley, thanked the hotel’s customers for their continued patronage through the years, attributing the hotel’s success to the many customers who particularly take out time in filling in a review form and sending their comments about the hotel’s service to the travel site following their stay at the hotel.

Mr. Loxley also thanked the “fantastic” team at Southern Sun Ikoyi for their unwavering dedication in providing consistent and continuous superior service to all guests at the hotel.

He said the 2016 top rated award would further, “motivate staff and management to continue in their efforts in maintaining the status of high-quality service delivery at all times”.

TripAdvisor developed the award to identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the global hospitality industry.

The Southern Sun Ikoyi standard was appraised by guests on a whole range of hospitality disciplines namely; service delivery, cleanliness, efficiency, security, comfort, value for money, superb culinary reputation, sophisticated ambience amongst other points.

The hotel’s particular warmth to all its guests especially when responding to their comments and queries either directly at the hotel or via posts/comments on the travel website earned Southern Sun Ikoyi excellent ratings with its guests, said the hotel management.

The annual Trip Advisor traveller’s choice award has become one of fierce competition for top hotels around the world.
