Who Wants KSA Kidnapped?
The whole country was shaken, literally, during the week, when news broke that juju music legend, King Sunny Ade, had been kidnapped. Not many doubted the news especially when it came from his daughter. But some hours after, the musician did a video to debunk the viral news, calming everybody that he was fine and safe. He did not end there. He released a brief statement, which T4T will let you see here.
“Contrary to the falsehood and fabricated news dated 28th April, 2025 peddled by Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye and her associates who declared that I was missing, I hereby state as follows:
1. That I, Dr. Sunday Adeniyi-Adegeye MFR, also known as King Sunny Ade, am alive and well.
2. The falsehood about my disappearance or being missing by Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye and her cohorts are completely false.
3. I am alive, well and grateful for the love and support of my Fans, thanks for your concern.
4. It is very important to address the falsehood and fabricated news by Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye and her associates and to assure the general Public and loved ones that I am alive and safe.
5. Lastly, I utilise this medium to admonish the Blogger(s) responsible for this mischievous act alongside those that take undue privileges to trample on my hard earned reputation and image to desist forthwith otherwise be prepared to face the wrath of the Law.”
Now, the questions are, what is happening in the home of King Sunny Ade? What would push one’s biological daughter to sit down and release a message to the public that her father was missing, and apparently kidnapped?
Well, only Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye, the daughter of KSA, can answer this question but something tells T4T that this brewing storm in the aging musician’s home may not be unconnected to inheritance of his vast estate running into millions(if not billions) of naira. It is no secret that Baba KSA has children from different wives, so, it is natural for some children to ‘make hay while the sun shines’ especially if the source of the wealth is hitting 80 years in age.
Some children nor like wait till dia papa die to see wetin reach dem for Will, dem wan posses dia inheritance as Baba still dey alive. So, this is what T4T will tell Baba KSA, put your home in order. It is frightening to notice that one of your kids could make this bold move that unsettled everybody.
E Money In EFCC’s Net, And Other Matters
WHEN news of the arrest of billionaire popularly called E Money, brother of singer, Kcee, for alleged naira abuse, broke, not many were surprised. It has been long overdue.
After the conviction and jailing of cross dresser, Bobrisky for the same offence and even the conviction and fining of Cubana Chief Priest too, these young men with ‘new money’ did not learn from those two experiences, they continue to spray money annoyingly at parties to tell the world they have arrived.
One thing is clear, E Money will likely not do time in prison like Bobrisky. He may get away with an option of fine like Cubana Chief Priest and he will boast publicly like Cubana Chief Priest, ‘Money Na Water’, after paying the court fine, and he will continue the act at the next party.
Spraying the naira and other foreign currencies at parties, in Nigeria, will never stop. It is a cultural thing. Almost everybody does it. These days, older billionaires ensure cameras and other recording devices are turned off when the time comes for spraying money. So, the public does not get to see how the older wealthy men and women and political office holders ‘abuse’ the naira. The younger billionaires like the Obi Cubana, Cubana Chief Priest and E Money and many others want to be seen throwing money around. They want the videos showing them throw money into the air to go viral, how are we to know that they are rich when we don’t see them do that?
T4T is however of the opinion that the EFCC should be more concerned about the source of money of these people spraying money upandan than the so called ‘abuse’ of it.
All Hail King Okey Bakassi!
EARLIER in the week, T4T read in the news that comedian and actor, Okey Bakassi, has been crowned King of his Imo State community. Okey Bakassi has joined the growing list of entertainers who are now royal fathers and the list is actually long.
Now, the question is, will King Okey Bakassi still continue holding the microphone and cracking people up in comedy shows and or playing his role in the popular television sitcom, My Flatmates? Imagine King Okey Bakassi in a royal robe performing in Nite of A Thousand Laughs or Ali Baba’s January 1 comedy show? T4T is just trying to imagine it o.
Congratulations bros, sorry, King Okey!
