Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji hosts Hillary Clinton to dinner in U.S.
Social entrepreneur and human development expert, Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, has made another mark again, as she recently hosted former United States (US) Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, to a dinner.
The dinner took place at Henrietta’s Table inside Charles Hotel, with the brilliant and inspiring former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kingsley Moghalu, in attendance.
The former US Democratic Party presidential candidate, who was full of life at the dinner, came with a few aides.
Toyosi, Forbes 20 Youngest Power Women In Africa 2014, confirmed Clinton’s invitation to Nigeria after the successful dinner with the US former First Lady.
Toyosi, who spent most of her growing years shaping Nigerian communities and youth, is a mentor to hundreds of young people in public and private sector-led initiatives, in addition to tertiary institutions across Africa.
Her values and ideals are evident in the groundbreaking successes of many of the beneficiaries of her efforts, which are attributable to her unflinching commitment to the value re-orientation, financial empowerment and job creation for the successor generation of Africa.
She is a respected advisor, content expert and commentator on issues of entrepreneurship, education and governance and highly skilled in attracting and sustaining return on investment in business ventures.
Toyosi is the Founder and Chief Executive of Rise Networks, a Nigerian-based private and public sector funded youth interest social enterprise, with a primary focus on wholesome youth and education development.
The organisation focuses on creating intellectual development and capacity building programmes for young Nigerians between the ages of 16 and 30.
