Today, it is no longer news that Nigerians in a desperate bid to enhance their natural body beauty have fallen prey to quack cosmetic surgeons.

While some of them have lost their lives in the process, others have sustained permanent injuries. Even those who can afford to do it overseas, where it is commonly practised have not come out of it unscathed. But in the face of the dangers associated with cosmetic surgery, desperate Nigerians, especially the fashion-crazy ones have continued to engage in it. Being unable to afford the cost of approved and genuine one within and outside the country, they have resorted to patronising quacks.
