How Dr. Victor Ayeye built a legacy across education, real estate and leadership development

Dr Victor Ayeye

For Dr. Victor Makanjuola Ayeye, success has never been defined by a single profession. Hailing from Ilesha in Osun State and born in Shomolu, Lagos State, he built a career that cuts across real estate, education, consulting, leadership development, and ministry, creating institutions and mentoring professionals while maintaining a strong commitment to community impact.

An estate surveyor, entrepreneur, educator, and leadership advocate, Ayeye’s journey began at the Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH), Esa-Oke, where he graduated as the best student in estate management. His contributions to the institution and the profession later earned him recognition as the institution’s Most Valuable Alumnus and, subsequently, a Fellowship Award.

His academic pursuits continued with a Master of Public Administration from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, a Master of Education in Planning and Administration from Adekunle Ajasin University, an MBA in Leadership and Strategy, a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Birmingham, and a PhD in Leadership and Public Administration.

Mr. Victor Makanjuola Ayeye is happily married and blessed with two daughters, both of whom play a major role at King’s Care Universal School. His wife and co-founder, Pastor (Mrs.) Olubunmi Damilola Ayeye, serves as proprietress. She holds a B.Ed. and an M.Ed. from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, alongside UK certifications in early childhood and special needs education. On the board are their daughters: Gift Ololade Ayeye, a Babcock University-trained nurse with B.NSc and RN, RM, and RPHN qualifications, serving as Healthcare and Safety Adviser; and Goodness Omobolade Ayeye, a first-class LL.B. graduate of the University of Birmingham, taking on the role of Legal Adviser.

Reflecting on his journey, Ayeye said his approach to leadership has always been rooted in continuous learning and service.

“Leadership is not about position or recognition,” he said. “It is about creating value, building systems that work, and developing people who can continue the work long after you are gone.”

Professionally, he serves as the Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Ayeye & Co., an estate surveying and valuation firm. He is also Chairman and CEO of Kings Care Universal School, Executive Chairman of Tripple G Worldwide Investment Ltd, Lead Consultant at Superior Mind Global Resources and a Board Member of Whitefield Hotels Ltd.

His influence extends beyond business leadership into professional regulation and governance. He previously served on the Board of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria and is a Fellow of several professional bodies, including the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, the Institute of Corporate Administration, the Institute of Management Consultants, and the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management.

Despite numerous recognitions, including the City People Real Estate Man of the Year Award, the African Entrepreneur Merit Award for Excellence and Business Innovation, and the Thomas Sankara Leadership Prize for Integrity and Transparency, Ayeye considers mentorship one of his most meaningful contributions.

“One of my greatest fulfilments is seeing people grow,” he said. “When young professionals you have guided become industry leaders themselves, you realize that true impact is measured in people, not titles.”

According to information from his office, more than 60 estate surveyors and valuers have benefited from his mentorship and have gone on to establish successful careers in both public and private practice.

His passion for human development is also evident in the education sector. In 2014, he co-founded Kings Care Universal School alongside his wife, Pastor Olubunmi Ayeye, an education professional with specialized training in early childhood and special needs education. Together, they have focused on creating a learning environment that prioritizes academic excellence, character formation, and leadership development.

An associate familiar with his work described Ayeye’s approach as one built around institution building rather than personal achievement.

“Whether it is education, business, mentorship, or community service, Dr. Ayeye approaches everything with the mindset of creating structures that will continue to thrive for generations,” the associate said.

Beyond business and education, Ayeye remains active in public service and faith-based leadership. He contested for the House of Representatives seat for the Ijesha South Federal Constituency in 2023 and currently serves as Pastor in Charge of RCCG Covenant House Zone, Abuja, where he oversees the zonal headquarters and several parishes.

For Ayeye, the connection between his various roles is simple.

“Impact is not something you announce,” he said. “It is something people can trace through the lives you have touched, the institutions you have built, and the opportunities you have created for others.”

That philosophy continues to define a career built not only on professional achievement but also on leadership development, mentorship and lasting societal impact.
