Born in Anpka, Kogi state and hails from Otupka, Benue state. Lawrence Oloche Emmanuel, an entrepreneur can best be described as a man of peace, humility, candour, class and taste. A man of few words but of great sagacity, he represents the new generation of young leaders who through their foray into entrepreneurship is making unprecedented contributions towards changing the country’s developmental landscape.
A graduate of Marketing from the University of Lagos, he is the founder, MD/CEO of Promiseland Estate, one of the leading real estate companies based in the country’s seat of power, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. Through his company, Dr. Emmanuel has contributed immensely towards bridging housing deficit in the country, providing opportunities for decent homeownership among low and middle-income earners and providing job opportunities for skilled and non-skilled workers, numbering thousands.
A man of large heart, he has significantly impacted the lives of communities through his philanthropy and humanitarian interventions, aiming to lift the burden of life from the shoulders of the disadvantaged.
His company, the Promiseland Estate in conjunction with the Defence and Police Officers Wives Association (DEPOWA) empowered families and widows of fallen Nigerian heroes and awarded plots of land to them, to celebrate the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
He has also made several donations in relief materials, including to victims of the Mangu communal crisis in Plateau State and rehabilitated some destroyed communities in the locality.
Additionally, the company also donated relief materials to victims of all faiths in Zonkwa town in Kaduna State and also commenced the training and empowerment of women and young girls whose businesses and sources of livelihood were destroyed in the Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State as a result of attacks by bandits.
Promiseland Estate was not his first point of call in his journey to stardom. He had a stint in telecommunication, power transmission and construction. His company, Fioloda Integrity started in Lagos as a Logistics and Transportation company. In 2012, he ventured into power transmission and construction, before finally moving into real estate in 2020.
In recognition of his giant efforts in touching the lives of the Nigerian people, former President Muhammadu Buhari in May 2023 conferred him with the national honour of Member of the Federal Republic, MON.
Also, Dr. Emmanuel had in 2022 received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from American Management University, in addition to an ambassadorial award.
He was conferred with the Award of Excellence by the Police Service Commission (PSC) during the second edition of the Police Service Commission’s Annual Awards Ceremony for his service to humanity. He is also a recipient of the African Leadership Award.
A mentor, leader, innovator and knowledge enthusiast is happily married to his lovely wife, Amb. Mrs Gift Emmanuel, the Executive director of the company and CEO Cherry Skin Care, their union has been blessed with three beautiful kids.
