SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, a non-governmental organisation, says its annual empowerment programme for military families will take place on Thursday, 17th October 2024 at the DEPOWA school hall, Mogadishu Cantonment, Abacha Barracks, Abuja.

The event is part of the organisation’s ongoing efforts to provide resources, support, and encouragement to widows of fallen military heroes who have taken on the role of breadwinners for their families.

This transformative initiative offers participants training and resources aimed at fostering self-sufficiency, resilience, and empowerment. Through workshops, motivational sessions, and skill development opportunities, the program will equip military widows with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and hope.

In addition to these empowering activities, SUPPORT OUR TROOPS will be providing essential food items to 100 military widows, ensuring they have the necessary support to sustain their families. This gesture underscores the organisation’s commitment to honouring the sacrifice of military families and promoting the resilience and indomitable spirit of these women.
