Advocaat, who lost the home leg of its quarterfinal match of the on-going BOA Lawyers League 1-2 to Aluko & Oyebode on Sunday, still hopes of turning the tide when both teams meet this weekend in the return leg of the tie.

The unseeded Advocaat fell to two strikes by Aluko & Oyebode’s Ofili and Nwodo with Wofai replying for the home team. But Nistelrooy Ogunbiyi sees the result as a fluke, which would be corrected on Sunday at the AstroTurf 2000.

Also hoping to right its ship this weekend is SimmonsCooper Partners/Femi Atoyebi, who also lost 0-1 at home to Olisa Agbakoba Legal. The team is relying on Ogochukwu Odum, Femi Oyewole, and Samuel Olomo in the battle for survival against Agbakoba, who is one of the highly rated teams of the league.

Followers of the BOA League believe that Aelex and Olajide Oyewole have uphill tasks against Lagos State Judiciary and Tayo Oyetibo/Bayo Osipitan, who beat them 1-0 respectively last weekend. But the pundits believe that the matches Pinheiro and Falana & Falana, as well as Sofunde Osakwe Ogundipe & Belgore/Renascence and Banwo & Ighodalo are evenly poised due to the unyielding displays of the teams in the previous matches.

This weekend’s proceedings would be kicked off at 4.00 p.m. by Aelex and Lagos Judiciary, with the games involving Olajide Oyewole against Tayo Oyetibo/Bayo Osipitan,
Advocaat versus Aluko & Oyebode, Pinheiro against Falana & Falana, Soob/Renascence versus Banwo & Ighodalo and Simmonscooper/Femi Atoyebi against Olisa Agbakoba Legal following in that order.
