Babangida backs Kalu’s quest for FIFA presidency

Former President, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd), has joined the growing band of supporters for the candidature of former Abia State Governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, ‎for world football governing body’s, FIFA, topmost position.

Last week, CAF president, Issa Hayatou, also can out to swell the number of supporters for Kalu’s candidature.

Incumbent FIFA president, Sepp Blatter, will leave the post early next year and among those Kalu is contending with for the position are European football boss, Mitchel Platini, Prince Ali Bin al-Hussein of Jordan and Liberia Football Association president, Musa Bility.
