Cast Malaria Football Initiative Holds Tomorrow In Lagos
As part of its contribution to United Nation’s campaign against the scourge of malaria, the 3ra’fique Communication, in partnership with Alibaba GCFR, is set for the 3rd edition of Join The Cast Malaria Football Initiative, which will hold today at the Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island.
The football game will pitch a group of comedians against a team of media personalities.
Chief Executive Officer of 3ra’fique Communications, Irabor Okosun, said in a statement that the project is carried out through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, ’Join the Cast’ which is part is of the organization’s contribution to the United Nation’s campaign against the scourge of malaria.
He stated that the fight against malaria includes the drive to enlist the support and commitment of stakeholders from all sectors in the campaign, adding, “We will keep creating, exploring, employing and leveraging effective platforms to help us achieve this as well as the other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.
Speaking on the project, a comedian, Alli Baba said: “Our aim for the malaria initiative is to mobilise communities against malaria and increase sensitisation at the grassroots level.”
