Week two actions resume today in the CMB Building and Investment Company sponsored South West Rugby League at the main bowl of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

According to the fixtures released by the NRFF technical department of the league, the first game of the day will be between two division two sides, Royal Stallions of Ilorin and Eco II rugby football club of Lagos slated to kick off by 12noon.

While by 2pm, the premier league division will resume hostility, as two strong Lagos rivals in the league will trade tackles. Cowrie RFC of Lagos will hope to bounce back to the top of the table in their highly rated encounter against Racing RFC.

The last game of the day will witness Gosar RFC of Lagos facing Police RFC by 4pm.

It would be recalled that Gosar suffered a shocking 58-0 loss to Racing RFC two weeks ago in their opening day encounter, which has seen them rooted to the bottom of the four-team league.

Speaking ahead of their game, Captain of Cowrie RFC, Azeez Ladipo, said that: “We did not start well in our first game of the season despite our victory.
