Eagles skipper sends Xmas wishes, visits Plateau Governor

SUPER Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa has sent Christmas greetings to Nigerians as they celebrate with the rest of the world today just as he paid a courtesy call to the Plateau State Governor.

SUPER Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa has sent Christmas greetings to Nigerians as they celebrate with the rest of the world today just as he paid a courtesy call to the Plateau State Governor.

Ahmed Musa, who sported a red Christmas cap, said: “I wish all my fans and Nigerians Merry Christmas. May the season bring good things to us all.”

The mother of the CSKA Moscow star is a Christian.

In the meantime, the Eagles captain has paid a courtesy visit to Plateau State governor Simon Lalong to discuss football development in the state and Nigeria at large.

The Jos-born forward said that he deemed it fit to have such a meeting.

“I visited the Plateau State Governor and we discussed about the growth of football in the state. It was a good meeting and I am happy it took place,” he disclosed.

“I talked to him about the Zaria Road Stadium and the importance of completing it in time.

“We discussed Nigerian football as well.”

Musa, who is currently on holidays, started his career in Jos with Aminchi Academy, then he moved to JUTH FC before he moved to Kano Pillars and then to VVV Venlo (Holland) before he moved to CSKA Moscow in Russia.
