Two clubs that will fly Nigeria’s flag in the 2016 CAF Champions League, Enyimba of Aba and Warri Wolves are among three clubs said to be battling to secure a shirt sponsorship deal with Eunisell Group, an Oil and Gas servicing firm, following the relegation of Sharks FC of Port Harcourt in the just concluded Glo Premier League.

Though, the Communications Manager of Eunisell Group, Mr Kunmi Balogun, did not state the names of three clubs, but The Guardian learnt that The People’s Elephants (Enyimba) and the Seasider (Warri Wolves) are among the clubs that have signified interest in the shirt sponsorship deal.

Eunisell said yesterday it had received three proposals from three clubs through its sports marketers representing for the deal.
“Since the relegation of Sharks FC, we have gotten more than 20 calls and emails requesting us to shift our support to other clubs in the NPL,” Balogun said. “As at today, we have three official proposals requesting for shirt sponsorship from us.”
Balogun said a new deal might be reached with one of the clubs that finished top six in the 2014/2014 Season.
