Remo Stars, who caused the biggest upset in the round of 32 of the Federation Cup on Wednesday when they beat defending champions, Enyimba, have been pitched against another Premier League side, Lobi Stars, in the round of 16 of the competition.
Remo Stars beat Enyimba FC on penalties to get to this round.
In other games, Nasarawa United will meet Abia Warriors is an all Premier League clash, while former champions, Heartland, will be up against BJ Foundation.
Kwara United is pitched against Enugu Rangers, while Prime FC versus Akwa United is a fixture too close to call.
Plateau United will play against El-Kanemi Warriors, and Ifeanyi Ubah FC will expect to get past FC Taraba to consolidate on their new status as one of the country’s most dangerous teams.
Tornadoes Feeders and Dolphins FC completes the Round of 16 fixtures.
In the Women’s quarterfinal fixtures, defending champions, Rivers Angels, coached by sacked Falcons coach, Edwin Okon, will play against Confluence Queens, just as Edo Queens have a date to keep with Bayelsa Queens.
Osun Babes will meet Nasarawa Amazons, while FC Robo will hope to upset Sunshine Queens. The dates for these games have not been decided by the NFF.
