Falana set to battle Olisa Agbakoba for BOA Lawyers League title

Nobody reckoned with them when the 2015 edition of the Bankole Olumide Aluko Football Championship, also known as Lawyers League, kicked off in February, but Falana & Falana have defied all odds to berth into the final of the on-going league. And so on April 24, the team from Ikeja GRA will be the cynosure of all eyes when they confront defending champions, Olisa Agbakoba Legal in the final of the BOA League.

The final will hold at the AstroTurf2000, Ikoyi, Lagos.

To get the chance to contest for the top prize, Falana & Falana hit Aluko camp; Oyebode two times at the weekend with Tayo Fashanu and Tony Ajadi’s ninth and 18th-minute goals respectively separating the sides.

Before then, Falana camp; Falana had dispatched former champions, Lagos State Ministry of Justice by the same margin with Fashanu accounting for the two goals.

On their part, Olisa Agbakoba Legal got to the final courtesy of their 4-3 penalty shoot-out defeat of Tayo Oyetibo/Bayo Osipitan in the semifinal.
