Maduka Okoye has finally arrived at the Super Eagles camp, bringing the number of players to 24 a few hours before the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier opener against Madagascar. Okoye joined his teammates at their Ikot Ekpene base on Friday morning.

Okoye’s prolonged absence from camp raised reactions from fans as the team rounded up preparations for Friday’s match.

His absence attracted further reaction after he was spotted at a nightclub with popular American rap star Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, otherwise known as Cardi B.
