SPORTS fans from across the country have been given the opportunity to win prizes from their knowledge of current events through The Challenge Arena TV Game Show, an indigenous blend of sports and entertainment quiz game show, which debuted on January 5, 2015 on television nationwide.

  The game show, which, according to the producers, is aimed at empowering youths in the country, is organized by Cedar Point and Towers Limited and Cavari Capital Limited, and financed by Mayfield Investments Limited (a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange). 

  According to Wale Adegboyega of Cavari Capital Limited, the show features eight challengers per episode and any of the eight challengers, who gets evicted in the first stage, is guaranteed the sum of N20,000. 

  Adegboyega revealed that The Challenge Arena Game Show is all about answering questions in the fastest time to get points, which will accrue through the first three stages to allow the final Challenger in the fourth stage Challenge for the ultimate price, which is up to N10, 000, 000.

  Also explaining the show, Charles Itua of Cedar Point & Towers further, said the eight Challengers would be given the chance to answer questions on the global happenings on sports and entertainment, adding that it is targeted at people from age 18 to 45.

   “To be part of the live studio show, the participant is expected to send SMS (LIVEGAME NAME LOCATION) to the short code 35815, while viewers at home can also be part of it by answering the Home Challenge questions that will appear on the TV screen by SMS (HOMEGAME ANSWER NAME LOCATION) to 35815, twenty home challengers will win N20, 000 each. 

  “Interested Challengers can also catch up on the Challenge by playing online. To do so, send  ‘WEBGAME’ as SMS to the shortcode 35815. A pin will be sent to your mobile number and Challengers can play online by visiting www.thechallengearena.com/webgame. 

Online Challengers will have the opportunity of winning fantastic mouthwatering cash prizes,” Itua revealed. 

  He disclosed that each SMS to the shortcode 35815 is billed at N100, just as “multiple entries to participate in the livegame and homegame are allowed and will boost your chances of either being called to the Live studio game or winning the Home Challenge cash prize.”
