FOLLOWING the end of the African Nations Cup, which ha left Nigerians craving for more field action, GOtv has promised its subscribers a variety of exciting sporting content from the top leagues in Europe to basketball, athletics and boxing, live on SuperSport Select 2.

  According to satellite television broadcaster, this month still promises more top sporting programmes, even as the best teams go head to head to be crowned “Europe’s NO1 team.”

  Among the football matches slated for the period, according to GOtv, are the FA Cup games featuring Arsenal against Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace versus Liverpool, and Champions League match between PSG and Chelsea, as well as the Tottenham Hotspur versus Fiorentina Europa League tie. 

  From today to Sunday, “basketball fans are in for a treat with the All-Star weekend. Dubbed an entertainment showstopper, the All Star weekend comprises of a range of basketball events, exhibitions, and performances, culminating in the spectacular All Star Game – West Coast vs East Coast. Now that’s a slam dunk! 

  “On February 21, the world’s top runners will take to the streets of Tokyo for the Tokyo Marathon and we bring you the highly anticipated world middleweight championship fight between Martin Murray and Gennady Golovkin in Monte-Carlo.” 

  In March, according to GOtv, subscribers will be thrilled by the “Capital One Cup final between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur; the UEFA Europa League, the FA Cup quarterfinal and the IAAF Cross Country Championship in Guiyang, China.”
