Represented by the Secretary, Lateef Fabunmi, the agency boss stressed the need for all stakeholders to give maximum cooperation and support to the new technical director.

Responding, Ashworth, who could not hide his joy, said he chose Ondo State ahead of other states because of the vision of Governor Olusegun Mimiko to make the state envy of rivals in the area of football development.

Ashworth, who is in a second stint in Nigeria after being previously in charge of the Kwara Football Academy as director, has already met with players and officials of Sunshine Stars and Sunshine Queens at their training sessions in Akure.
