THE partnership agreement between Globacom and the League Management Company (LMC), in which the telecommunication outfit sponsored the Glo Premier League for over a decade, has officially ended.

A source close to Globacom told The Guardian yesterday that the company had decided to terminate its sponsorship of the Nigerian Premier League. No reason was given.

But an official of the LMC however, said that Glo three-year contract with the LMC had expired.

“It was part of the LMC communiqué last week in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State that Globacom three years contact had expired and we wish Glo well,” the LMC official said.
