Harden house has emerged winners of the 80th inter house sports of Baptist Academy Boys secondary school, Obanikoro, Lagos.

The event, which took place last week, was organized to promote sports in the institution.

It was all excitement as students of the college participated in various sporting events, including long jump, athletics and shot put.

According to the organizers, the inter house sports was also used as a platform to celebrate the college 80th anniversary. It was founded in 1985.

Speaking at the end of the event, Principal of Baptist Academy, Bosede Ladoba, said that the competition would go a long way in instilling confidence in the students whop are aiming to pursue a career in sports.

‘’Participating in school sports gives children the chance to discover their talent at tender age. I am delighted that the students gave their best in all the sports they participated.

“As teachers, we encourage the children to take part in various sporting activities not withstanding any challenge they face in them. We are also happy that must of the Baptist Academy old students in their 70s and 8os came to grace this occasion,” she said.

Stone house finished second, while Vaughan house was third.
