ICMA Services Team A stole the show in Ibadan at the weekend where they won the maiden edition of World Business Link Masters Cup.

Represented by the duo of Monday Daniel Edet and Ibadan Golf Club former lady captain, Evelyn Oyome, who participated in the two-day competition, ICMA Team A shot 136-stableford points winning by four-shots, leaving House B team in the second position. House B returned a two-day score of 132-stableford points, while ICMA Team B duck in the third position after grossing 125-stableford points.

For their effort, the winning team, ICMA Team A would be given an all-expense paid trip to South Africa where they will participate at the Tshwane Open, while the second placed House B was also given an all-expense paid trip to Ghana.

The second runner-up would be given a weekend treat at the Moorehouse in Lagos.
Speaking at closing ceremony, Convener of the tournament, Abel Edinomoh, promised to continue to promote golf at all levels, saying, the 2017 edition of the tournament will be a lot better.

The Business Golf Link Masters Cup was organised under the auspices of West Africa Golf Association (WAGA).

The next event on WAGA calendar is the setting up of Africa Golf Development Centre in Uyo Akwa-Ibom State, as well as the maiden West and Central Africa Club Championship.
