IT was celebration galore inside the Shooting Stars FC’s office in Ibadan on Sunday when one of the leading betting companies in the country, NairaBet, presented a brand new 32-seater coaster bus to the Oluyole Warriors.

Presenting the bus was the chairman of the company, Otunba Akin Alabi, who said his love for the club prompted his decision, saying government could not do it alone putting into consideration the present condition of Nigeria.

“I have been supporting Shooting from my boyhood days as I am from Oyo state,” he said.

“For a while now, while supporting the club in my own little ways, buying tickets to watch games, I have been praying for an opportunity to do more and I am happy that the time has finally come.

“This bus is just the beginning of what NairaBet intends to do for Shooting Stars, as there are plans to make it bigger.”
Alabi assured that more sponsorship packages would be unveiled before the end of the week as he continues his support for the club.

Speaking on the kind gestures, the General Manager of the club, Rasheed Balogun, described the donation and support as thing of  joy and relief for him and the team.
