As part of its efforts to reposition the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the management has concluded plans to advertise for the positions of departmental heads.

Sources from the NFF disclosed yesterday that the action was in line with the determination of the Amaju Pinnick led board to build a football house that can efficiently function like its counterparts around the world.

The Guardian learnt that the positions to be advertised for include the heads of technical, international, marketing and national departments.

It was also gathered that the federation’s marketing department would be relocated to Lagos for easy assess to intending sponsors, majority of who are based in the former federal capital.

Sources at the federation also revealed that the NFF plans to have a robust technical department, where a pool of coaching experts will operate, just as it plans to expand the media and communications department.

The Guardian, however, gathered that most of the incumbent departmental heads have resolved not to apply for the jobs because of feelers that the leadership of the NFF may not be favourable to having them
