Victory in any event creates an exciting feeling that makes the victor want to do more. And when that victory comes in a thrilling fashion just before spectators settles down to watch a fight, it gives the fighter a certain aura of invincibility.

That is how Nigerian kickboxer, Okechukwu Kingsley Nwajiaku felt when he knocked out Mohammad Akmar in an international challenge bout on February 1 in Malaysia.

That victory has lit a fire in Nwajiaku, who can’t wait to go into the ring again.

His promoters have lined up more fights in their bid to get him up the rankings and close to a world title fight.

Speaking on his last fight, Nwajiaku, who noted that the bout lasted approximately one minute and six seconds in the opening round, said that the win reflects his growing skill, discipline and dedication to the sport as he continues to build momentum in the kickboxing scene.

Nwajiaku disclosed that the fight, held on February 1, 2026, ended in a decisive knockout, which he described as one of the fastest wins of his career.

Nwajiaku said: “This is the result of hard work and consistent training. I’m focused on improving with every fight and making a name for myself.”

Nwajiaku’s next fights come up in the April 25 and 26, 2026, as well as May 1 to 3, 2026 belts, where he hopes to deliver even more impressive performances.

He expressed confidence ahead of the fixtures, noting that he is intensifying preparations to maintain his winning streak.
