Organisers promise fireworks, funfare at 2022 ADRON Games
Organisers of the 2022 ADRON Games, which holds from tomorrow to Sunday, have assured participants and sports fans of a fantastic atmosphere at the competition.
It is the sixth edition of the games with the theme, ‘The fit are the Best.’
According to ADRON Games 2022 Media Consultant, Segun Adebowale, this year’s event holding in Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) will feature18 sports, including football, volleyball, table tennis and basketball, as well as track and field events.
Some of the regions that will compete at the event are Eko (Lagos Island), Capital (Lagos Mainland), Northern, Gateway (Ogun), Oyo and Living Fountain (Osun and Ekiti).
Others are Head Office, Directorate of Construction Estate Properties, as well as ADRON Contractors and Vendors.
The games is a yearly fitness and bonding initiative by ADRON Homes, which brings many stakeholders together and promotes fitness among the workers, contractors, home owners and the public.
According to the Director General, Business Strategy of the company, Mr. Ayodeji Ojo-Omoniyi, “at ADRON Homes and Properties, we believe that a fit generation is a healthy generation and the fit are indeed the best.
“Since we started the ADRON Games in 2016, it has continued to grow in leaps and bounds and we have also taken it round in different states on a yearly basis. This year, ‘Éko lokan’ and the Games is featuring Beauty Pageant, Mr. & Miss ADRON Games 2022 for the first time.
“This shows that we are continually evolving and developing, fashioning innovations to make the Games more exciting on a yearly basis and I can assure you that this will be the best year ever for us.’’
The Group Company Secretary, Mrs. Jesuyemisi Odeyemi, said the rave of the moment, Zinoleesky, will thrill guests and spectators, adding that ADRON Games Ambassadors will also spice the event.
She said: “This year, our games ambassadors, Daniel ‘The Bull’Ámokachi, Chioma Ajunwa and Tijani Babaginda will be adding some colour to our event and I can assure you that our other ambassadors, Saheed Balogun, Jigan Baba Oba and Vanessa Jones, will be at their best to ensure that the Games is not dull for a second.
“We will also be having a raffle draw and there are fantastic prizes for winners of our draws.”
